RMS Instruments, founded in 1980, was the industry forerunner
with the introduction of the world's first innovative, intelligent, multichannel,
fully programmable, wide body thermal array chart recorder, with such features
as overlapping and multiwrap traces.
Many other innovations can be attributed to RMS Instruments' experience
in the design, manufacture and production of the highest quality data recording
systems and instrumentation.
-
Introduction in the early 1980s of the world's first intelligent multichannel
ARINC
Interface for a chart recorder
-
Also during the early '80s, RMS Instruments successfully introduced the
GR33 Graphic Recorder to the world's Flight Inspection community. Because
of the recorder's capabilities and reliability, it has become the industry
standard.
-
In the mid 1980s, RMS Instruments introduced to the airborne geophysical
exploration industry, a flexible, customer programmable/configurable Data
Acquisition System
-
Ongoing development of the AADCII Automatic Aeromagnetic Digital Compensator
(winner of Best Canadian Product at the 1988 Canadian High Technology Show),
resulted in 1990 in the world's first four magnetometer sensor, real-time
compensation system. The AADCII has since then been setting
the standard in the geophysical exploration industry.
-
In 1992, the Automatic Aeromagnetic Digital Compensator successfully compensated,
in real-time, a helicopter geophysical exploration installation (Technical
Paper Listing CT6 - 'A Helicopter Inboard Magnetic System - A World First')
To complement our own manufactured instrumentation, and to better support
our customers, RMS Instruments is the Canadian representative for Geometrics'
line of magnetometers, and in addition, we maintain manufacturing, sales
and support for the Herz TOTEM-2A VLF Electromagnetic systems.
We at RMS Instruments are dedicated in providing complete customer satisfaction.
Our support and service are unsurpassed in the very demanding environments
of the geophysical survey industry. This dedication is also extended to
all industries in which we serve.
Our continuous research and development is providing our Customers with
extremely flexible and reliable products. Our practical modular approach
to design has afforded many Customers the opportunity of expanding their
systems as their requirements dictate, by simply adding a desired interface
module. There is no need to return the equipment to the factory for interfacing,
configuration or software revisions.
Our recent relocation to our own larger facility, which is strategically
located in the vicinity of Toronto International Airport (PIA), allows
us to better provide worldwide Customer support and service.
